The Essay Contest is open to school children from grades 6-12 in the Tampa Bay area. The topic of the essay will vary each year and will be related to Hispanic history or culture. The contest is divided into four categories, with three cash awards in each. Cash awards are awarded to the first, second and third place winners in each of the categories.
